Owen Meister began his football journey at the age of three with Rutherford Junior Football in Rutherford, New Jersey. His passion for the game led him through a successful career at Rutherford High School before continuing at Stevenson University and Lincoln University (CA), where he established himself as one of the program’s most accomplished specialists. He later joined the Texas Syndicate, serving as the team’s starting punter and holder during the 2026 season.

Throughout his career, Owen has demonstrated exceptional versatility, competing as a punter, holder, long snapper, and receiver. His high football IQ, adaptability, and willingness to contribute in every phase of the game set him apart from other specialists. Whether making a tackle on special teams or extending a broken play, Owen embraces every opportunity to help his team succeed.

His accomplishments include holding every punting record at Lincoln University (CA), serving as a two-time Team Captain (2024 & 2025), graduating as the Valedictorian of the Class of 2025, and becoming the first and only player in CoFL history to record a “Los Dos” (2-point punt) during the 2026 season.

Currently a free agent, Owen is actively pursuing professional football opportunities in leagues including the IFL, AF1, CFL, UFL, and NFL. Coaches and teammates recognize him for his relentless work ethic, leadership, and team-first attitude, making him a dependable competitor and valuable asset to any organization.
